Maria Helena Novais and Frederico Felizardo, from the Renewable Energies Chair at University of Évora, participated in the conference “Water – Challenges of the Future,” organized by the Portuguese Water Resources Association and the University of Algarve.

The event took place from May 16 to 18 in Faro, at the Penha Campus of the University of Algarve, bringing together various professionals from the water sector.

The presentation given by Frederico Felizardo was titled “Design of a solar desalination pilot with a high liquid recovery rate aiming at a ‘zero liquid discharge’ concept beyond the state of the art,” within the scope of the Sol2H2O project.
