Frederico Felizardo, Researcher at the University of Évora participated in a week-long mobility program at the ITC in Gran Canaria
As part of the Sol2H2O project, a Researcher of the University of Évora, Frederico Felizardo, participated in a week-long mobility program at the ITC in Gran Canaria. The initiative took place from September 16th to 20th, providing a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange and the strengthening of international collaborations.
Frederico Felizardo, highlighted the significance of this mobility: “Between 16 and 20 September 2024, I made a mobility trip to the Canary Islands Institute of Technology (ITC) as part of the Twining Sol2H2O project. Known for its research work in the desalination sector through the ‘Desal+ Living Lab’, it provided a complete immersion in the world of desalination with a focus on the reverse osmosis process. The training week was marked by theoretical and practical activities, which enabled me to acquire knowledge about the functioning, operation and maintenance of certain systems. The opportunity to participate in the commissioning of a piece of equipment and to learn about the different projects under development at ITC through the ‘Desal+ Living Lab’ was fundamental in broadening my vision of the state of the art and the challenges of the field. The receptiveness of the colleagues and the collaborative atmosphere of the institute created a favourable environment for exchanging experiences”.
